What is updating pe environment
Hi All, I made a Macrium Reflect 6 free version boot USB drive and thought I would put it in to make sure it worked. I did as usual and created a boot rescue CD with the PE file with no problem.
I get two Kinston USB drive boot options, which one should I use to boot up with? Then I continued to make an image of my boot disk C and save it on my hard drive D.
Windows PE WIM C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\en-us\will be used.
Unable to mount the WIM, so the update process cannot continue.
This is happening because these systems are running older versions of Microsoft Windows or for application compatibility reasons.
Copy the file from the installation folder of the ADK such as: (make sure the architecture is the same, in this case 64-bit) C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\amd64\en-us” Copy the file to your OSD folder in the installation directory of your Config Mgr such as: “D:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\OSD\boot\x64” Delete the old and rename the to Do the same for the 32-bit image.
If you have custom boot images, replace the source media in these as well.
The solution is simple; if you are running this machine on Hyper-V (presumably other Hypervisors as well) you will need to shutdown the VM, disable Secure Boot (on the VM only) and then power it back on.
The next time you run the wizard it will complete as normal. === Making sure the deployment share has the latest x86 tools === === Making sure the deployment share has the latest x64 tools === === Processing Lite Touch PE (x64) boot image === Building requested boot image profile.Hi All, I have the free Macrium Reflect 6 program, which recently updated to 6.1.879. I am in the process of creating an Image of HP Pavillion DVT7 2200 Notebook now.
